In October 2026, MK Kredit Moldova welcomed investors and partners from 17 countries for a three-day visit. The programme combined meetings with local teams, visits to five client businesses and opportunities to discover Moldova’s culture and traditions.
For MK Global Kapital, the trip provided an opportunity to connect the portfolio with the people, businesses and communities it represents.
Meeting the local teams
The programme included MK Kredit’s headquarters in Chișinău and its branches in Chișinău and Orhei. Participants met colleagues and explored the company’s operations, portfolio development and work with clients.
These conversations provided context for the business visits that followed.
Five businesses, five perspectives
The client visits introduced participants to entrepreneurs working across agriculture, renewable energy, hospitality, food production and traditional crafts.
Fructmer SRL demonstrated the role of modern cultivation methods in Moldovan agriculture. Based in Ialoveni, the company grows raspberries, strawberries, grapes and other crops, combining greenhouse production with agricultural expertise.
Leader Energy, founded by Ruslan Casapu, specialises in the design and installation of photovoltaic systems. Financing from MK Kredit has helped the company expand its operations and take on larger projects, making it a practical example of the relationship between access to finance and business development.
Lavinia’s House, created by Igor and Stela Voloșciuc in Curchi, offered a perspective on rural hospitality. Their family business brings together accommodation, nature and local traditions, welcoming visitors to experience life in the Moldovan countryside.
GT Ceban Vera, a family-operated farm in Peresecina, introduced participants to livestock farming and dairy production. Its story illustrated the commitment and continuing investment involved in running a local food business.
Rădăcini și Dor – Daruri de Moldova, founded by artisan Ludmila Gîrlovan in Orheiul Vechi, connected entrepreneurship with cultural heritage. The boutique showcases handmade products from artisans across Moldova, providing a space for traditional craftsmanship to reach visitors and customers.
Understanding the local context
Alongside the business programme, cultural visits, traditional food and craft activities introduced guests to the communities in which these businesses operate.
Taken together, the encounters offered a practical perspective on MK Global Kapital’s activities in Moldova. Each business brought a different story, shaped by its sector, investment needs and the ambitions of the people running it.
We thank all participating investors and partners, the MK Kredit Moldova team and the entrepreneurs who welcomed us and shared their experiences.
